A Big Heart For a Big-Hearted Woman

Over the past few months, I have had the supreme pleasure of getting to know Mztracy. She is a beautiful lady and an absolute doll! She has a great, supportive husband and three gorgeous kids; she designs and sells her own jewelry at A Fabulous Flair; she creates computer graphics and logos; and she has been one of my biggest cheerleaders for The Light Fandango candles. And, oh yeah, she also happens to be in a wheelchair due to the awful effects of MS.

Recently, I was pouring my traditional 3-wick heart candle, and wondered what scent to make it. Suddenly it hit me that I wanted to make it in Mztracy's favorite scent, which is Black Raspberry Vanilla.

I decided I was going to call this one "Tracy's Heart" on the website and explain a little about her.

I wanted to talk to her about it first, though, but noticed she wasn't online. And wasn't. And wasn't. Finally, we got word from another friend that Mztracy had not been feeling well, that her MS was flaring up and her meds were making her feel run-down. I must have sensed something was amiss, otherwise why did it the urge hit me so strongly to name this candle for her and use her favorite fragrance?

Mztracy has been back in touch, and is feeling better. In her update, she let us know about her plans to roll her way through her 12th! MS Walk. Now it's crystal clear to me why I needed to dedicate this heart to Mztracy! This is how I am going to help her reach her goal for the walk!

I Make Bath Fizzies by IP Freely

I have finally learned when I am ready to take on a new project, to take it in baby steps. Don't go and make an entire line before first making some test batches. With this in mind, I began my new project-Mango Daiquiri bath fizzies, or bath bombs.

First, I set up my ingredients and supplies-



Then, the mixing of the ingredients-




I have *got* to start picking less messy hobbies!-




You're supposed to leave the packed ingredients in the mold for just a few minutes, then press them out. This was my first time, so I don't *quite* have the golden touch yet-



Then they are supposed to sit for a couple hours to harden, but since I am not patient *at all,* I decided to toss one of the damaged ones into a bowl of hot water-



TA DAH! A big bowl of pee! Guess yellow is *not* going to be one of the colors for these bath fizzies! Whew, glad I did a test run-run, haha!
